The Therapeutic Recreation Department provides interventions and activities to enhance our Resident’s quality of life. Recreation services through both individual and group programs will allow residents to realize their potential for utilizing their abilities and for meeting individual needs and goals. The uniqueness of each individual is respected, and their right to have input into the development of their recreation plan is recognized. The focus of the department is to facilitate the therapeutic use of activities in an environment as near to what the individual would find in the community.

The Therapeutic Recreation Department assists residents in receiving and sending e-mails to family and friends. E-mails are printed and delivered on weekdays during TR office hours. Staff are available to help read and write return messages.
